DVD Bonus Feature Announced

We've received word that there will be a bonus feature called "Quantum Mechanics of The Big Bang Theory, which features the cast discussing why it's cool to be a geek. We'll let you know when we receive word of any additional bonus features to be included on the season one DVDs of The Big Bang Theory, which will be released on September 2nd.
Amazon is taking pre-orders of the first season DVD for under $19.

Season One DVDs Officially Announced

We've known for a while that the first season DVDs were on their way, but it wasn't officially announced by the studios until today. The first season DVDs for The Big Bang Theory will be released on September 2nd.
You can now pre-order the first season DVD box set containing all seventeen episodes from the first season on Amazon for under $19.
All 17 episodes will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, just as they were broadcast. Audio formats included on this set include English - Dolby Surround 5.1, English - Dolby Stereo and Portuguese - Stereo 2.0 as well. You can also expect English subtitles.

CBS has put out a new press release today with information on the first season final episode.
"The Tangerine Factor" - When Leonard asks Penny out on a date and she says yes, they each seek the "wisdom" of reluctant advisor, Sheldon, on the first season finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, May 19 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Episode 15 Name Change

From the "you've got to be kidding me" department, episode 15's title has been changed. This happened with the previous episode. The Shiksa Indeterminacy is now known as The Pork Chop Indeterminacy. 
The Big Bang Theory - The Peanut Reaction Announced

Earlier today, CBS issued a press release announcing the next episode, the sixteenth, of The Big Bang Theory.
Here is the plot summary:
"The Peanut Reaction" - When Penny learns that Leonard doesn't celebrate birthdays, she attempts to throw him a surprise party, but is sidetracked by Sheldon who unexpectedly gets to live out one of his greatest fantasies at an electronics store, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, May 12 (8:00-8:30 ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Shiksa Indeterminacy Ratings

The ratings are in for last night's new episode of The Big Bang Theory. 7.56 million people tuned in to watch The Shiksa Indeterminacy on CBS Monday night. That is down from the 8.16 million who watched The Nerdvana Annihilation the week before.
